I would like to have someone develop a List / Task system in VB6
- The server must accept multiple connections with a max. defined with a constant in the code
- The server and client must use sockets to connect
- The client and server UI must be based on Neumorphism Design
- Allow for the parameterisation of the protocol between client and server, such that it is a trivial effort to create a new step in the protocol
- Permit the embedding of a list in a list item, thus creating a 1 to N ( Parent Child list ) relationship
Payment will be staggered over 5 payments of 20% each
- Agreement is reached that the client has been developed to a professional standard using our coding standards
- Successful testing of a client to an instance of the List / Task system server on the developers server across the WAN
- Successful testing of the client sync. with Microsoft Outlook on the same computer to an instance of the List / Task system server on the developers server across the WAN
- Agreement is reached that the List / Task system server has been developed to a professional standard using our coding standards
- Final UAT of the full system
When you 'apply' pls. provide a link to a client .zip file for download from a previous project that uses sockets and the details of how to connect to a server so we can determine that you have the skills necessary to complete the project in a timely manner.
You must agree in writing that the code in the project is owned free and clear by yourself and you are not infringing on anyone else's intellectual property.
You must never pass on any of the code to a third party without our written permission.
